The Graphene Project – Pluto Conductive

13 May, 2020

An electrically conductive graphene-based coating with corrosion resistance and defined friction properties

Provexa Technology AB has recently been awarded money from the state research authority Vinnova within their graphene program to lead a research project to develop a new Pluto product. There, we will investigate how we can optimize the impact of graphene to get Pluto more electrically conductive, which is demanded by industry as the trend is towards increased electrification in society. An electrically conductive surface layer with Pluto’s good corrosion protection would be truly unique!

Other project participants are Provexa AB, RISE, Nilar, Chalmers and Chalmers Industriteknik.

You can read more about Pluto Conductive on the research program website.

Chalmers Industriteknik, who is a project participant, has also written about the project on their website.

The project starts May 18th and runs until November 2022.
