This is how Adcoat acquires flexibility

5 November, 2021

Adcoat in Kungälv, Sweden increases its flexibility by transferring the pre-treatment to Provexa. “We can do what we are best at and deliver what customers demand”, says Göran Håkansson who is responsible for purchasing

Adcoat works with powder and liquid coating, screen printing, laser engraving and assembly. They have customers in several segments and many need a supplier who can handle both short and long series.

– We complement each other. Provexa dips and we paint, Göran summarizes.

The amount of orders is large, but each can be as small as 5-10 details. It requires a flexible supplier with a good structure.

– I have worked with Provexa for many years, both here and before in the telecom industry. Without good structure, the collaboration would not have lasted that long, says Göran.

The proximity between Adcoat and Provexa is important, which means that misunderstandings and other things can be easily sorted out. Most of the products today are made of aluminum, which means a limited number of treatment methods. But because Provexa has so many and conducts its own research and development, Adcoat is well equipped to meet new requirements from their customers.

Adcoat also manufactures its own products in the form of IR elements for drying and curing processes as well as paint removal.
