New production line for Provexa Pluto©

6 March, 2019

In recent years, Provexa has expanded and invested continuously. This will keep Anders Sabel and his colleagues busy.
– We’re installing a new coating line for Pluto, he tells us.

The new line will be up and running early 2019, consisting of 55 tanks and 110 stations, including stations for suspension, buffers, etc. The previous line allowed for Earth®, ED coating and powder coating. The new line adds unique possibilities for coating.

Green replacement

The factory is already crowded, so how can there be space for such a huge line?

– We have retired the old zinc nickel line. That’s how we made space, Anders says. Earth and Pluto are adequate replacements for zinc/nickel plating.

Anders’ title is service manager, but he also leads process installations. On the service department, Piotr Nowicki is one of his colleagues.

– We also employ people with specialist competence for projects, Anders says.

Unique competence

Since Provexa handles the projects and develops the processes, there’s a unique competence in the factory even while operating.

This is neither the first or the last time that Anders will install a new in-house developed process at Provexa. The company’s investment in research and development will continuously demand new investments.
